Mian Cart Noodle Bar
Studio X has added a cart noodle concept to its exciting and burgeoning F&B portfolio. Mian Cart Noodle, was an opportunity to take an existing restaurant brand and position it for the Macau tourist market.
We designed every aspect of the environment including the bespoke neon ceiling and all the fixtures and lighting.
Every aspect of the scheme has been thoughtfully designed to kart back to the traditional cart noodle bar with an emphasis on natural materials and simple geometry but with a dystopian twist to evoke Hong Kong by night in the shape of neon ceiling fixtures, signage and wall art.

The scheme sits on a fantastic corner site, with a completely open shopfront. This meant that we could create a design that fully integrated the mall with blended boundaries and a really approachable presentation that would encourage passers-by to drop in but also allow the hubbub to spill out onto the arcade.
Our main objective is to improve the performance of our clients businesses by creating exciting, emotive spaces that have high utility and this project epitomises this approach.
