Sharper Image Store
We have created a prototype flagship store concept for Sharper Image, bringing back to life the iconic gadget brand from the 1970’s and repositioning it for today's market. The project required us to find ways to encourage customers to play and interact with drones, robotic dinosaurs, remote control cars and other gadgets and saw us develop a full feature flagship that could be used as the testbed for merchandising ideas, and display space for B2B product demonstrations, and a real-world blueprint of the future Sharper Image store for prospective landlords, operators and licensees.
We managed the entire design process, from Pre-Concept to Completion. Following on from this exercise, we went on to create our first Sharper Image retail store in Milan. The stores will be used as a blueprint for a large-scale roll-out of stores of multiple formats across North America, Europe and Asia.

An incredibly fun client! We quickly set about putting ourselves in the shoes of the customer and looked at ways to maximise the sheer excitement of being in a gadget and toy shop by immersing customers with opportunities to interact and enjoy playing with all the incredibly fun products.
As a flagship store, the space needed to feature a full complement of functions and characteristics, so that we could derive a comprehensive formatting strategy for a future store roll-out.
