StudioX had the opportunity to redesign Mannings street store in Aberdeen, Our vision was to refresh the overall store environment and enhance brand's value within the market.

Our aim for redesign was to establish a new fresh atmosphere throughout the store. This involved a focus on refining the navigation, brand's color palette and graphic to create a more contemporary and inviting feel, importantly to improve customer experience.

The Mannings Aberdeen project demonstrated how pharmacies can elevate customer experience. By incorporating wellness-focused layouts, natural materiality, and clear navigation, we created a store that feels approachable and trustworthy. The design moves away from purely functional retail to embrace lifestyle-driven cues, building stronger community connections. This project shows how even everyday retail can be reimagined as an environment that supports well-being and brand credibility simultaneously.

Through careful detailing of fixtures, lighting, and product displays, the store was designed to encourage exploration and interaction. Strategic zoning created distinct areas for healthcare, beauty, and wellness, giving customers a sense of discovery while maintaining efficiency. The result is a prototype store concept that sets a benchmark for future Mannings locations across Hong Kong.
