Studio X were appointed to design a new retail concept and format strategy for the flagship site and eventual role out of the Paul Lafayet cafe and bakery concept across China.

Our open-plan cafe concept also includes a cake preparation workshop that is visible to passers-by, providing the consumer with a sense of theatre and the aroma of freshly baked goods.

Subtle use of soft colour tones and natural materials were implemented to appeal to a predominantly female consumer.
